What it filters out

Certified to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 to reduce:

Chlorine

Total PFAS

Lead

Fluoride

VOCs / TTHMs

Microplastics

It keeps healthy calcium and magnesium in. Full list with exact rates is in our lab data  here.

The taste difference

The chlorine smell and taste is gone from the first glass. Water tastes clean, like the bottled water you used to buy, and your coffee and tea will show it first.

Because Norell is not reverse osmosis, your water keeps its natural minerals, so it never tastes flat or stripped. Test strips are in the box if you want proof.

Will it fit my sink?

Almost certainly. Norell connects to the standard cold water line found in nearly every US kitchen, and the free Universal Fit Kit covers both 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch fittings, male and female.

Will it slow my faucet down?

No, it’s built for fast everyday flow. Norell delivers a certified 1.5 GPM flow, compared to 0.7–1.1 GPM published by many under-sink filters.

That’s about 4 seconds to fill a glass and 40 seconds for a gallon pot, so everyday kitchen tasks keep moving.

Filter life & cost

One cartridge lasts 680 certified gallons, about 6 months for most homes. Replacements are $67 each, so about $134 a year.

Questions?

We've got answers

Does it include a pre-installed filter?

Yes. One filter cartridge is included and comes pre-installed.

Can I install this as a renter?

Yes. It installs under your sink without permanent changes to your plumbing, making it renter-friendly in most homes. If your lease restricts plumbing modifications, check with your landlord before installing.

How is this different from reverse osmosis?

Unlike reverse osmosis, it doesn’t send water down the drain during filtration and is designed to retain naturally occurring minerals like sodium, calcium or magnesium. Its 5-stage filter targets sediment, chlorine, taste and odor, heavy metals, fluoride and scale.

What if it doesn't fit my plumbing?

The free included Universal Fit Kit covers standard 1/2" and 3/8" connections. If you have something unusual email a photo to hello@norellwater.com and we’ll help find the right adapter, free.

How much do replacement filters cost?

Replacement filter cartridges are $67 each. One cartridge is already included and pre-installed with your system.

Does it work on well water?

Yes, and well water is often where people notice the biggest difference. Well water tends to carry more sediment, rust, and metals than treated city water, and the filter is built to take those on.

Does it filter hot water?

No. It connects only to your cold-water line. Filter media and housings are designed for a specific temperature range, and hot water can reduce filtration performance or damage the cartridge. Always install it on the cold-water supply.

How long does a filter cartridge last?

Each cartridge is rated for up to 680 gallons, or about 6 months of everyday use.

What does it NOT remove?

This is not an RO purifier and isn’t designed to remove everything. It should not be relied on for dissolved hard water minerals, nitrates, arsenic, viruses or other microbiological hazards unless our published independent testing specifically verifies those reductions.
